Daphne Keller

Daphne directs the Program on Platform Regulation at Stanford’s Cyber Policy Center. Her work focuses on platform regulation and Internet users’ rights, with an emphasis on intermediary liability, content moderation, and informal state pressure on platforms (jawboning). Before moving to academia she was Associate General Counsel at Google, where she worked for a decade on intermediary liability and content removal. She took part in CELE’s online symposium on regulatory threats with the post “This is hard”.
